Thomasians let's see this proclamation through

In response to the letter I faxed to PGMA proposing the declaration of 2010 as "Year of the Thomasian" in tribute to the great Thomasian men & women of decades and even centuries past and to the present-day Thomasian community and as a fitting prelude to the biggest historical celebration of the century as UST commemorates its Quadricentennial (400 years) in 2011, I received email from the Office of the President's Correspondence Office informing me that my proposal has been forwarded to the Presidential Legislative Liaison Office for appropriate action.

This is the first step in a long process to have such Presidential Proclamation realized, just like in 1999 when I spearheaded the campaign to have 2000 declared as "The Year of OFWs" which was eventually proclaimed.

Fellow Thomasians let's see this campaign through so that 2010 will be declared as "Year of the Thomasian". Go USTE!!!
