I was there (upon the invitation of my friend Oliver who co-hosted the program) during the Q-Song Writing Contest Finals at the Education Auditorium. The moment “Ako’y Isang Tomasino” was sung I knew Gerry de Leon had a winner in it. Right from the start I had goosebumps. From the lyrics to the melody, panalo talaga! Congrats Gerry.
